What have you done for yourself lately? I mean just for yourself and no one else. No kids, no dogs, no significant other - just you? We all need to take time out and do something we enjoy. Each week you need to make you a priority and do so with out guilt. Today I went to the state park.. yup .. just me. My 3 greyhounds and a foster dog stayed home while I walked, read a book sitting on a park bench under a tree, and just listened to the sounds of nature. I love it there. What do you love? My foster dog Tan now named Ziva has found her new forever mom! Susan came to meet her with no thoughts of actually adopting as she wanted a black greyhound. Well it was love at first sight for both of them! I am so excited for them both! Ziva will be going to her forever home end of June ( after new mom's vacation) Congratulations Ziva and Susan!

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy memorial day! Had some difficult calls at work this week. In an instant lives change. There is no rhyme or reason to it. Enjoy your families. Love easy. Make things fun. You never know when it will come to a screeching end. I've been missing my mom and dad this holiday alot for some reason. Both died in the early ninetes. I guess it doesn't matter how long someone you love is gone. Love never dies.
